MEDIA KIT BIO – PATTI FRIDAY
Patti Friday is a Canadian Writer, Photographer, and Visual Storyteller who captures the essence of everyday life through her pen and lens. Known for her quirky charm and cinematic eye, Patti creates across genres with a signature blend of whimsy, warmth, and wonder.
She writes, illustrates, and independently publishes books for both adults and children—offering a delightful mix of imaginative stories, offbeat characters, and thought-provoking visual narratives. Patti’s children’s books invite readers to step into worlds that are refreshingly different—fun, quirky, and joyfully unexpected.
A devoted documentarian of life’s fleeting moments, Patti is rarely seen without her camera. Her photography explores the poetry of the ordinary through a cinematic, documentary style—spanning botanical, culinary, lifestyle, portrait, travel, still life, and the whimsically strange. Her visual storytelling reflects a deep curiosity and reverence for the world around her.
In 2025, Patti launched the Embassy of Ideas Mail Club—a global subscription that delivers a monthly envelope filled with a handwritten letter, poem, fine art photo print, and a signature pound cake recipe. It’s a slow, tactile experience in a digital world—pure Patti.
She currently resides and creates near the blue shores of Georgian Bay, Ontario—or wherever the Canadian road takes her.
