RECIPE No 1: Morning Joe (My Daily Go-To)
My new coffee brand (Mountain Cabin) and I'm loving it! (I get mine from The Wellness Store)
I have a morning coffee ritual. (btw I drink coffee in the A.M. and tea in the P.M.) I heat and froth 2% milk - sometimes with half n half cream mixed in. Then I do a single cup pour over coffee with my handy dandy Melita Ready Set Joe Cone and a bamboo filter! So lo-fi, so old school. Then I pour the coffee into the frothed milk. Essentially it's a hybrid latte/cappuccino and I'm obsessed!
Organic coffee is grown without synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or chemical fertilizers. Conventional coffee is one of the most chemically treated crops in the world. By choosing organic, you avoid consuming trace amounts of these harmful substances in your daily cup.
RECIPE No 2: Protein Mocha Latte
Tastes like mocha latte! 20g protein.
Make your morning coffee as you normally would.
(I only use Mountain Cabin organic, mold-free*, pesticide-free coffee)
In a bullet or....(I use a hand frother) mix your favorite milk or milk substitute with 2 scoops ProFlex protein powder. (chocolate)
Fill your mug half way with this blended mix and top with the fresh & hot coffee.
You will get 2 mugful's!
