My Dad has left us.....
We are deeply saddened to announce the
passing of our beloved Father, Bill Frieday, on August 7, 2023, in Collingwood,
ON. He was 89 years old and died peacefully at Hospice Georgian Triangle surrounded
by his family. He was cared for until the end by a circle of family and a team
of kind health professionals who made him feel the utmost care and comfort. We
are incredibly grateful for their support and deep love for him.
Bill was a remarkable man who dedicated his
life to community service. He touched the lives of many people with his
kindness, generosity, compassion, and sense of humour. He was also a loving
husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, friend, and business
associate. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Some fun facts about Bill:
He supplied Tim Horton with his first donut boxes
He saw the Maple Leafs win the Stanley Cup in 1967
He was the Master of Wexford Masonic Lodge in Scarborough

Bill is predeceased by his wife of 65 years,
Bev Frieday (nee Nicholls). Loving
Father of Patti Kennedy and Peter Frieday (Crystal). Sadly missed by his
grandchildren Cameron Hoit (Angela), Lindsay Parkinson (Phil), Taylor Hoit
(Shaun), Blair Kennedy (Alyssa) & Lauren Frieday, his great-grandchildren and
many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by
his parents, Paul and Louise Frieday of Arnprior, ON. Bill will always be
remembered for his love of people, patience, creativity, leadership, and his
devotion to his entire family.
Cremation and a private family gathering have already
taken place; entrusted to Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home, Wasaga Beach,
ON.
Donations to Hospice Georgian Triangle would be a
thoughtful way to remember Bill.
