That Ship Has Sailed

It’s about trust, not about jealousy.  Oh, it might be announced that you are jealous.  It is one of the most overused, abused words in the dictionary to explain ailments and thoughts.  The truth is that once that ship has sailed, it has sailed.  What does this mean?   It is an expression used to describe a lost opportunity or something that is unlikely to happen in the current circumstances.

And if a ship is divided against itself, that ship will not be able to sail.

Getting the trust back is a stormy adventure.  Hold on tight - or wait on the shore if you don’t think you will be able to endure it.
