Whole Food Plant Based No Oil WFPBNO

In the last few years I have been very interested the WFPBNO eating plan.  I have succeeded and failed miserably (insert cake cheat here).  I have invested in gorgeous WFPBNO books and watched many videos.  I have dear friends who excel at this lifestyle choice.  They have shared their recipes and ideas.  I have made some fairly amazing meals too!

It amazes me how 'perfect' plants are and how they give us exceptional nutritional benefits.

I do eat meat/fish/poultry from time to time, but prefer not to eat it...not based on 'veganism' - based on my lack of desire to consume it.  I just don't enjoy it any more.  (Hence my B12 supplements!)

If you are not sure what WFPBNO is, here is a great starter:

A whole-food, plant-based diet is centered on whole, unrefined, or minimally refined plants. It’s a diet based on fruits, vegetables, tubers, whole grains, and legumes; and it excludes or minimizes meat (including chicken and fish), dairy products, and eggs, as well as highly refined foods like bleached flour, refined sugar, and oil. Read “What is the Forks Over Knives Diet” for a more detailed explanation by Dr. Alona Pulde and Dr. Matthew Lederman, co-authors of The Forks Over Knives Plan, and Forks Over Knives Family.

I hope you return as I plan to begin sharing more of my recipes!
Until are some photos of our lucky local bounty.

Take care friends
