We’d love to hear where you’re tuning in from today/tonight!

CLASS NOTE:  Premium Starter Kits may be vary in oil selections in different companies.

Let’s get started!

So what exactly are these magical little bottles of oils?!

Essential oils are the “lifeblood” of a plant. They protect plants from disease and provide nutrients. Plants rely on the essential oils to grow and adapt to their surroundings.

Essential oils can be found in a plant’s flower, stem, leaves, bark or fruit. They are usually extracted through steam distillation. Essential Oils are very complex, containing hundreds or thousands of different chemical compounds; this is what gives each plant its unique healing attributes and characteristics.

They were man’s first medicine! You may just be hearing about essential oils for the first time but they have actually been used for a really, really long time. Today, essential oils are still used to bring health and wellness to the body – mentally, emotionally and physically!

-reach every cell in your body within 20 minutes when applied topically
-help eliminate toxins in your body
-help support the different systems of the body: digestive, nervous, muscular, and more.
-promote cellular regeneration
-pass through the blood-brain barrier
-work on emotions via the limbic system of your brain
-promote healthy emotional wellness and relax and clear the mind
-transport nutrients
-be powerful antioxidants
-remove toxins in the air
-promote healthy, breathable air
- be a great alternative to chemical or toxic fragrances.

We have private facebook groups, webinars, classes and continual education so that you are equipped and ready to jump in and use your oils as soon as they arrive at your doorstep!

Safety is important when it comes to using essential oils. It’s easy to get overwhelmed with all of the information available, but using common sense and starting gradually will help ease any sort of intimidation you might feel as you begin using essential oils in your everyday life.

On the bottle itself, on Young Living’s website, and in our groups are guides to using EOs safely. Know that you can pull back the label on the bottle, and look up the oil on YL’s website alway for suggested use, to know if dilution is recommended etc.

When storing essential oils, it’s important to keep them in a cool, dark place with lids tightly closed (and always out of reach of children). You’ll also want to keep carrier oils (like coconut, olive, vitamin e, sweet almond oil, v6 etc.) on hand for dilution. Always use and store EOs in glass containers, especially when drinking them in water, since most plastic products contain chemicals that can be broken down by the oil.

There are three ways to use Young Living Essential Oils (YLEO): Topically, Aromatically, and by Ingestion.

+ TOPICALLY means to apply directly to the body. We always recommend you dilute your YLEO with a carrier oil – like coconut oil or grapeseed oil – until, at the very least, you know how your body is going to react to the oils. Many essential oils are “hot” oils, so you’ll always use a carrier oil with them. (Thieves, PanAway, and Peppermint are all examples of hot oils that should be diluted.) We always recommend using a carrier oil when applying oils topically to children, until you feel comfortable doing otherwise.

+ AROMATICALLY means to breathe in the oils. In your kit, you’ll get a diffuser, and that’s the easiest way to use essential oils, but you can also put a drop or two in your hands and cup them over your nose and mouth and breathe deeply. You could even put a little essential oils on a cotton ball and stick it into the vents of your car!

+ INGESTING your oils means to swallow them – either in drink or food, or by filling a vegetable capsule. Some people are very comfortable with ingesting and others aren’t. This is a very personal choice and no one here will ever judge you based on your decision either way. Not all oils are made to be ingested, so please refer to the label of each oil for proper usage instructions. NOTE: All “Vitality” oils are part of Young Living’s dietary oils line and are GRAS (Generally Regarded As Safe) and can be ingested if you choose to do so.

Lavender – considered “the swiss army knife” of all oils and you will likely find yourself reaching for it often.

Just a drop may help soothe minor skin abrasions, and a drop in a new tube of mascara can result in fuller, longer eyelashes.

Lavender can also be used for the following things:

+ Combine Lavender, Lemon, and Peppermint to support healthy respiratory function and help you enjoy the seasons with ease.

+Lavender is very calming and we use it to support a good night's rest!

Lemon Vitality – can be used for a variety of things, including cooking (lemon pasta), baking (lemon bars), and for a balanced health and wellness regimen. A drop or two of Lemon can also help you get sticky, hard to remove items or residue off of windows and other surfaces with ease. We also clean with Lemon often! Talk about the entire house smelling wonderful. Lemon is very cleansing for our bodies and sometimes we use this topically on problem areas on our skin, too! Talk about versatile!

Peppermint Vitality –

this is one of the oils that I will never find myself without and is always in my purse for on-the-go support.

I use it to support healthy digestion, as part of healthy weight management, in the diffuser to give us a little pick me up and more!

It is my go to oil for head tension as well!

Copaiba Vitality – is a great driving oil, meaning it adds extra power when applied on top of any oil. It can also be taken internally to promote wellness as part of a daily health regimen. I love to make a Copaiba tea with one drop of the EO in hot water! One of my favorite ways to use this oil is making a Copaiba Epsom Salt Bath – combine 5 drops of oil with 1 cup of Epsom salt to unwind at the end of the day.

Purification – a blend of Citronella, Lemongrass, Lavandin, Rosemary, Tea Tree, and Myrtle essential oils, is great for removing any offensive odor in your home or car.

Add a few drops to a cotton ball and place inside those sports bags, garbage cans, stinky shoes and more!

I have mine diffusing combined with lemon by my son's pets.

We also love to add a few drops to our wool dryer balls when placing our clothes in the dryer. It leaves our clothes smelling fresh and clean!

Panaway – Trust me when I say that this oil right here just might become your favorite! It’s a perfect companion after a workout, or a lifesaver for those days that you’ve overexerted yourself physically. This blend of Wintergreen, Helichrysum, Clove, and Peppermint essential oils can be used in a massage to help ease muscle discomfort.

Digize Vitality – is a blend of Ginger, Anise, Fennel, Peppermint, Tarragon, Lemongrass, Patchouli, and Juniper essential oils that was formulated to aid healthy digestion.

It’s rich unique aroma and taste can be calming and comforting. This oil is one that goes with us every where, especially when traveling!

You can use it as a dietary supplement in your water to help support a healthy digestive system.

RC – Everyone who has lungs should own this oil! This blend of Spruce, Cyprus, and three types of Eucalyptus (E. Globulus, E. Radiata, and E.Citriodora) essential oils packs a big punch! It’s robust scent is a great way to perk up and it’s energetic aroma will help you stay motivated throughout the day. One sniff and you’ll know why people don’t want to find themselves without this blend. Awesome for pre and post workouts, amazing for overall respiratory support!

Stress Away – It pretty much does what the name suggests! Understatement!

It helps bring relief to everyday stresses we all can feel. This blend of Copaiba, Lime, Vanilla, Cedarwood, Ocotea, and Lavender essential oils smells amazing and when diffused or applied topically provides a calming aroma and feeling.

Roll it on your chest, wrists...carry it into the grocery store with 4 children ;), this oil is your best friend!

I also adore this one diffused with lemon!

Frankincense – is known as the “holy anointing oil” and is arguably one of the most recognizable essential oils due to its wide range of supportive properties, as well as being one of the gifts given to baby Jesus. It is highly useful in supporting the skin. It’s a great add to facial moisturizers, diffusing for meditation, focus and grounding of emotions.

Thieves Vitality – is one of Young Living’s most popular oil blends and has a spicy scent and flavor. Smells like Christmas!

This proprietary blend of Clove, Lemon, Cinnamon, Eucalyptus Radiata, and Rosemary essential oils may help support a healthy immune system and promote overall wellness.

We apply a drop to the bottom of our feet daily to help support a healthy immune system.
